Carrillon Park, Dayton, Ohio is very near to the National Cash Register Company in Dayton. The grounds are lush, with many items of historical significance from Southwestern Ohio. Of particular note is the reproduced bicycle shop of the Wright Brothers, fathers of modern flight. (See arrow in bottom right photo.) Sorry, my store picture that might be closer, doesn't show much,  so you'll have to settle on the one shown here.  Those are actual Wright manufactured bicycles hanging in the window! Isn't it AMAZING how such simple experimentation led to such sophisticated aerial machinery? Scientific discovery is FULL of experimenters who persevered until they succeeded. Many of our Mars Society colleagues could be on such ventures, with much better technology. There are no doubts, any amazing discoveries they come up with, may soon lead to future Mars missions.

Also at Carrillon Park, you can see historical real live models of locomotives, cable cars, and an actual lock of the Erie Canal. In the gadgets, you can see antique cash registers, and older steam powered generators. Among the older buildings is an old school house and an original era gas station. If in SW Ohio, this park is definitely worth a stop!
